Freyscape Fantasy Tour - Results Stage 16

With another Frenchmen stealing the win from the nine man breakaway, Pierrick Fedrigo claimed the honours. Low scores were achieved today, with www.colesbay.com.au scoring the highest (43) from Finn’s Fantastic Finishers (42) and Cats (41). A total of 15 teams remained stationery and 17 scored zero

Stage 17 is the final Mountain stage of this years Tour with two flat stages and a Time Trial left. Teams are the closest ever with anyone in the top ten able to take the win. Will Chicken Dinner be the winning Dish? Will brothers Finn and Dash continue to dominate the podium? Which Bike Shop Team will take overall honours???? Who will win the Penguin title?

As Schleck lost time and Contador soared, Chicken Dinner held her spot on top and gained valuable points. Twenty teams were stationary as scores were low. The Rath scored highest today (57) and entered the teens (24-18), with Twiggy (55) and (22-17), Scottish Hairy Legs (54) who gained 9 spots (43-34) and Bike Central (53) the only teams scoring in the 50’s. Twigmancometh made a late advance up six spots in the teens (17-11). Two teams scored zero, Le Peloton and Super Matts scored 4 and a total of 11 Teams scored 9 thanks to Andy Schleck’s 12th place.

More Than a Chook Raffle
Team Chicken Dinner has finally risen to the top and clings on by a mere 4 points from Specialized Stiffies. Dash's Sprinting Dynamo's struggled on the first day of Mountains and Finns Fantastic Finishers maintains fourth as Rapid Cycling slowly closes the gap. The battle for the Penguin DS continues with Col Du West Pine (6th) now gaining a gap from Hard Yakka (8th). Todays 'switcharoo' occurred in the Teens. Allez Woolies Girls gained 3 spots (14-11) as did the Spaniardo (15-12), while Lance Bozanello lost two spots (11-13) as did Edward Scissorhands (12-14). Nudie Runners dived also (15-13). Fifteen Teams held their position after todays stage. The biggest descender was B&R dropping 6 spots (40-46).
